Negus Webster-Chan | Fresh Start / by Hussein Abdullahi

The 6'7 Guard Negus Webster-Chan looks forward to the bright lights and opportunities the Raps 905 offer. The Scarborough Native embarked on a successful journey that took place in Canada and the U.S. In high school Webster-Chan became a 5-star recruit before signing to The University of Missouri in 2011. After his freshmen year Webster-Chan transferred to Hawaii, in his red-shirt sophomore year Webster-Chan avg. 8.3 PPG. & 4.3 RPG. In the spring of 2015 Webster-Chan decided to forgo his last 2 years to turn pro. Webster-Chan spent last season playing in the NBL for the Halifax Hurricanes.  

In early September Webster-Chan participated in the open try-outs for the Raptors 905, where he was selected to their roster, Coach Stackhouse feels confident about Webster-Chan's attributes and shooting ability. As for Webster-Chan he is ready for the fresh start at home and his career.
